University of Saskatchewan Edwards School of Business
Group2 was engaged by the University of Saskatchewan to renovate a portion of the second floor of the Edwards School of Business (ESB) building. The renovation occurred in three separate phases. The first phase involved the renovation and modernization of an existing classroom, and converting existing offices into a series of breakout rooms to be used for student group work. The classroom renovation provides enhanced acoustic performance as well as fixed, tiered tables and seating for 48 students with power receptacles at each seating cluster. The new breakout rooms utilize demountable walls with large amount of glass, allowing natural light from the exterior to flood the hallways. The accommodation of technological teaching and learning supports and flexibility of the space were both high priorities.
