The Macleod Trail Professional Building is a four-storey building with three levels of underground parking. The building was designed and developed specifically to cater to health care professionals; physiotherapists, massage therapists, a walk-in clinic, and several other essential services aligned with health care. The site was initially selected for its proximity to the LRT station as it is one block from the nearest stop. To ensure those arriving by train are able to navigate the steep sidewalk along the south side of the site, a continuous handrail is provided along the sidewalk edge. Due to an extremely challenging site, (with a three-meter difference from the front of the site to the back), placing the parkade entrance at the back the building allowed the advantage of this grade change to permit cars to enter directly in from grade.
