Group2 offers comprehensive Collaborative Project Delivery services that have been built from their involvement in projects across Canada. These services have been refined since their first Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project in 2013. The firm’s success as the architectural partner in the first publicly funded (IPD) projects in Alberta and BC and the first municipally funded IPD renovation project in Canada is exemplary of their extensive history in collaborative delivery.
Group2 has provided an advisory and training role on most of their IPD projects carried out as design team members. They have built on that experience to develop a specialised Advisory Service division that helps owners access and support internal transitions and the assists with the development of contract documents, RFP protocols and processes for team selection and ongoing management. Our team has 7 IPD Advisory projects underway or completed. Group2 is also the only Advisory Specialist that has direct experience as a participating partner in IPD Projects – providing a unique perspective in our industry. To further develop its expertise, the company recruited staff members with unique IPD experience as Owner and General Contractor representatives.
Group2 has provided owner advisory services on Progressive Design Build and P3 projects that have a total construction value of over $2 billion. The firm has recently leveraged its collaborative experience to provide advisory services for Alliance contracts. Group2 has been selected as a collaborative coach adviser by Infrastructure BC and is one of only two Canadian firms to be acting in this capacity for Alliance projects.
