Edmonton Public Library’s new Capilano Branch, designed by Group2 in partnership with Patkau Architects, successfully opened to the public at the end of 2018. The Capilano branch features flexible space planning that incorporates community room, study area, and makerspace. Natural wood finishes and a bank of windows opening onto the nearby ravine provide a sense of intimacy and openness.
