Group2 is one of four finalists for the James D. MacConnell award, for its work on the Community Learning Campus project in Olds, Alberta. The award is presented annually by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International, and it is considered to be the organization’s most prestigious award. The award recognizes excellence in school design, and specifically, a project that engages stakeholders to create an “educational environment that holds purpose and distinction within a community.”

“We are very pleased to have our work recognized in this way,” says Craig Webber, Principal, Group2. “The CLC was an incredible project to be involved with and we are so pleased with the impact it continues to have on learners today.”

CEFPI will announce the winner of the competition at its annual conference later this month.

The following video featuring the CLC will be posted on the CEFPI website.
