CHINOOK REGIONAL HOSPITAL REDEVELOPMENT

The project encompasses both renovation and addition relating to most departments of the hospital including Outpatient, Cardio-Respiratory Service, Day Procedures, Day Surgery, Emergency, Inpatients (Medical/Surgical) Labour & Delivery, NICU, Orthopedic Clinic and Renal Program. These various components are divided into streams of production in order to address immediate needs within the Day Surgery as a ‘fast tracked’ component and to allow the facility to maintain operations during the renovations. Construction of the Day Surgery component commenced in April 2012. The remaining project, called “the Tower” has been and will continue to run concurrently.
