NE YMCA GENESIS CENTRE OF COMMUNITY WELLNESS

QYA Group2 were Consulting Architects for Gibbs Gage Architects, the Prime Consultant on the Genesis Centre of Community Wellness. Our scope of work included internal planning and development of the YMCA component of the project as well as contributing as part of the team developing the conceptual
design of the facility as a whole.

The Genesis Centre incorporates under one roof, the YMCA, the Calgary Public Library and the NECC Society that will comprise of a gymnasium, indoor soccer centre and multi-purpose rooms. The project is currently pursing LEED Gold.
