As the saying goes ‘you can take the boy out of the valleys but you’ll never take the valleys out of the boy’. Grew up playing the game of rugby and still love to watch and cheer. After a number of years of our national team seeming like amateurs in a professional game they have come good. Nothing puts a smile (and hangover) on a Welshman more than seeing them beat the English – the Stereophonics even wrote a song about it.

Laugharne Castle, South Wales UK Scene of teenage family holidays, final university design project and watching Macbeth with Moet on the lawn with my future wife. Laugharne is the only surviving medieval corporation in the UK, with the ruins of the 13th century castle a local landmark. Turner painted the castle and Dylan Thomas wrote a number of his works while a resident of the town. One of his quotes about the Laugharne was "and some, like myself, just came, one day, for the day and never left; got off the bus and forgot to get on again”
