The Cochrane Community Health Centre is designed as a commercial quality clinical office building. The major occupant of the main level is the Urgent Care, Flexible Clinics, Laboratory Services, Diagnostic Imaging and Supply Management. These departments have prime frontage adjacent to the main building core, while the staff and service areas are located away from the main traffic to maintain the privacy of the staff working in this area. The second floor provides workstations for 70 staff from various departments in addition to client clinic space. Conference and education rooms are accessible from the second floor main lobby and have been designed to permit after hours use. Admitting Registration and breakout rooms are located on both levels to ensure operational efficiency.
